Interesting read but I think this is a rather broad brush stroke. Not every emotional pain needs ‘healing’ or comes from a place where someone was at fault either. For instance, if you naturally loved someone (say romantically - but didn’t want to) and couldn’t be with them for whatever reason, you could be broken-hearted for years on end because you are not able to switch off feelings of love and concern for the other person. This isn’t something that is resolved by time, distance or deep breathing etc. A person can love someone else for all their life but never be able to see them and it’s something they learn to live with. Emotional pain however, does have a meaningful upside. It can heighten the senses and is excellent at promoting compassion, awareness and creativity in individuals. The kindest and most caring people are often the ones who have suffered a lot of emotional pain. This is why emotional pain should not be seen as something you need to get rid of or feel bad about, but seen as an opportunity to learn about your Soul, spirit and life, it’s something that people can learn to manage if they are truly kind, patient and compassionate with themselves at all times.
