Poetry

I hope you won't be
so lonely again
I feel that I am at the end
of things that do not
count at all.

I hope your faith in
order and your brothers
Brings you solace
through the Winter
And turns out to be
pure gold.

Now I stare across the valley
Only seeing your kind face,
Feeling sad in every space
as we are gone.

Into that realm of wonder
Where my love held out forever
In a soul of non-stop fire
for a song.

And now the dark is falling
Hope and time is running out
My death is just around
the corner,
Wave goodbye. …

They brought me all this way to show me
hope has to give up someday,
Be kicked aside.

Like a football rolling when there is no game,
Stuff your nature down with blame,
You are interrupting life.

They brought me all this way to show me God
was someone you could loathe or love,
When they lacked the depth to live
by their own rules.

But latched onto
the masses in their fumes,
The incapable of love,
The unthinking fed as fools.

They brought you
all this way to break your heart
Drink up the loneliness that lasts
and shove you into life with all your pain. …

Poetry of love

I had not minded
waiting in the clouds,
I knew there would
be other lightning,
A storm of ours.

That sparked
across the roof tops,
Beyond the narrow streets,
Until you were the verses
that only melted me.

I seem to know
who you are,
But I am not the same,
That’s why I closed on history
Still you know every page.

That deep
ocean of darkness,
Our rich tones of the Earth,
High Summer sun all over
and my cold life
in reverse.

No I do not mind seeing
You were made for silent dreams,
This world may not approve
but I can change
anything. …

Would you like to,
Would you like to play and pretend,
You can hear Summer strings again,
I can see the colours of you.

Would you like to,
Lean back in the softness of life,
Simply have your wonderful mind,
Touch what I believe is true.

Would you like to,
Smile as I have seen you before,
When your heart was an open door,
When our magic lifted the world.

Would you like to,
Remember our treasure of gold,
Where you lived in passionate love,
Or is it meaningless you want?

I would like to,
Gloss over little words of rain,
Find us in heaven unexplained,
Live in love and see your face
again. …
